The entry is an important element when selling a home.
The buyer will get the feel of the home immediately when walking in the door.
Make sure it is free from clutter and family photos.
The entry should feel warm and inviting as well as open and airy. It is the first impression of the home, make sure it shines!

The Living Room
When staging a house for maximum impact, edit the mantle and side tables in the living room.
Take away the homeowners personal pictures and collections so potential home buyers can picture their own possessions on the space.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...Rooms!
Girls just wanna have fun...rooms!
This girls room is painted a fun green and has room for a friend to sleep over.
The pink and green color scheme is fit for the littlest princess and can transition to the teens and beyond.
Minimal furnishings are key in a small space and I used every square foot of this room for maximum impact.
Pink linen drapery panels are hung in front of pink and green cheetah print sheers for dramatic appeal.
The bedding is a tropical print that elevates the room from feeling too young.

A Suite Retreat!
This guest bedroom is a sweet retreat. Any guest would feel at home in this cozy room. Floor to ceiling linen drapes were hung on a wall to warm up the space and botanical themed mirrored butterfly prints were hung on top of the drapes. Two matching chrome lamps on either side of the bed complete the look for an updated feel. Lovely!
The mirror theme is continued on into the bathroom. Three mirrored frames stacked horizontally with a botanical theme carry the look through from the bedroom. The pattern from one of the prints is repeated in the luxurious towels. Reservations for this "Suite Retreat" are reccomended.

The outdoor living room
When staging a home for sale remember the outdoor spaces will sell a home as well. Make your outdoor spaces pop with color and furnishings.
I started this outdoor room with 2 chaise and a halves.
I added side tables and large hurricane candle holders.
Then I added some red petunias and repeated the pattern from the chaise lounges with pillows in the chairs around the table.
I spray painted 2 more hurricane candle holders a bright white to match the extra large ginger jar on the table. I popped red in the candle holders. And poof! another gorgeous living area appears.

One of the most important areas to focus on when selling your home is the master bedroom. Potential home buyers will scoff at asking price if the master isn't up to par, so make sure to have the room be a soothing retreat from the rest of the house and even the outside world. This important room is our soft place to land every night, so make it beautiful and inviting...
In this room I brought in the matching bedside table lamps and advised the homeowner to re-orient the metal art over the bed ( which they did not ), get new linens/duvet coverings and put window treatments over the windows. The new lamps, soft coverings, and linens were just enough to put this room into the "welcoming" category. Status: SOLD...

Holly Would Originals Sets the Stage...
As a home stager, it is my job to pare down what homeowners use in the design process to sell their homes. Here are before and after pictures of a home on Rita Road. I had the homeowners repaint their dining room and change out the lighting fixture.
In the living room, we took the wallpaper out of the wetbar. With some rearranging and new soft coverings in the master, it really did wonders for this house. It is important to remember that sometimes less is more when selling your home.
I edited the master bedroom furniture to just what the homeowner needed and the house sold itself.
